A demonstration by LaTrevyon Davidson. Whitaker Pryce Accounting & Advisory is fictional.

Information enters once.
The system moves it.

One accounting firm, one new client, one engagement from request to payment. People step in for judgment, approval and the client relationship. The repetitive administrative movement in between stops being anyone's job.

Open the stage

The story is at the beginning.

1

Press play, or step through it

The stage performs the whole story on its own, or one click at a time while you talk. Anyone can press play; it runs a private copy in your browser.

2

Watch both sides

Left is the actual screen of whoever acts: the client, the team or the owner. Right is every step the system takes in response, with the minutes it removed.

3

Count the clicks

Thirteen moves. People make seven decisions. Everything else happens on its own.

The full screens

The stage shows each person's screen as the story moves. These are the same screens on their own, for when someone asks what the real thing looks like.

The model behind it

The firm's current process was mapped step by step: 98 steps, 9 roles, 13 handoffs and 11 retypes for every won engagement, about 692 staff minutes. The design removes 472 of them: a full eight-hour shift of admin work, per client, counting only the mapped steps. The demo shows the ones a viewer can see and labels the ones it skips.
